I think it goes beyond you being nice to your parents helper ....she is being quite rude and using your daughter’s perfumes and lotions without asking is ..amount to stealing. Just because it’s not money and jewellery she is taking doesn’t make it right. I’m shocked your daughter is ok about someone else touching her things ! my girl will be really angry and say something.
Using phone.. ok to a point but it’s not polite to be so loud it can be overheard.
Overall, shocking behaviour, she should be thankful to have such kind people to work for.

i suspect her change of behavior is due to her friends' brainwash...that i'm not the employer and as such there is no need to behave when staying at my place. obviously she doesn't know i have the authority to return her to the agency. -

My last Myanmar helper was like that…rude!
I employed Myanmar girls before but never encountered a girl who was so rude as my ex maid, she rolled her eyes, laughed and made noises while I was speaking to her.
Never greet no body, angry why I’m not giving her WiFi even though it was agreed at the beginning and agent told her as well. After 1 week she got upset and demanded to speak to agent to change employment.
She only cleaned 1 room, iron. Cooking was v bad so I got take outevert day and looked after my boy myself.
She complained that was heavy work, told me she can’t finish contract in 2nd week and don’t want to complete loan. I hired new maid, Fillipina although I’m aware they are demanding, I just couldn’t handle training another maid and maid being too dumb to follow. Soon as my ex maid found out I hired new maid she told me she changed her mind and will try to finish her contract if only I extend her off day time!
I’m sooo happy she is gone!. I lost money but really gotta decent maid now who worked 14yrs for 1 employer and only left as children are now adults.

don't know why she changed 360 degrees after a few days. she is darn rude and have no sense of respect. -
I may hv to get one for my father who lives alone.
He fell a few times and now still in a community hosp for rehab. Therapists strongly recommended to get a maid. Besides the costs, am concern with the associated prob with maids that I hv to deal with. -
There are (some) maids with nursing qualification and they may be more suitable for your dad.
Guess you will be interviewing them? If your dad’s condition is such that more is required from them, may be good to be upfront with them so that expectations match. No point spending time and money to have them quit on you when they discover it is not what they thought it to be. -
that rude and impossible maid has been collecting dust close to 3 weeks. despite a few interviews, no employer wants her because she can’t speak English. when she came, we have already advised her nicely on many occasions to speak but simply refused. now, she is not marketable. it’s the agency’s problem after 21 days. she still has an outstanding loan of $1900.
earlier there was one prospective employer staying in a 3 storey house who was keen to take although her English is limited…but maid turned it down. -

My ex-maid is not very bright and cannot speak English well. But hardworking with good work ethics and values. She is clear that her objective here is to earn money. No issue with finding another employer or being given more by employer.
In Singapore about 5 years, managed to build 2 houses and expanded her farm as well as farm land. -

Mine is not young (above 40 years old) and not so well-educated. Her pay was also used to support kids’ education.
Their ethics and values will determine their attitude to work and in turn also how much they can turnaround their families’ lives.
There is no free lunch in the world. High pay, no work. Some may appear to have more, but it may also be due to them being more capable and can manage more with less effort.
