Me Time!
-
Finally have some me-time...even though it is a short duration

-
My me time on the weekends is washing dishes and doing the laundry - DH and I toss for it. On the bright side, the dishes have never been so promptly washed as before we had kids. (My me time on the weekdays is work…)

kinda nag abit more on dd2 for being slow in finishing her breakfast…after dropping them at school, the image of her pitiful face looking at me before she got down the car kept playing in my mind…always feel sorry when didn’t say proper goodbye to them…ok, my mistake, forgotten that today has no staying back for her…planning to bring her out before going back to pick up the elder one.

Nice to have one-on-one time with your DD2.

I think the grass is always greener? My contract is up soon and I have to look for a new job, and I always think - maybe I should just not bother and stay home with my kids while they are little?? -

pros and cons for staying at home..maybe not too long break as in few years or flexi time arrangement? -

If you can afford simple things in life, the impt ones are your presence in personally supervising their formative years. You’ll see what a difference it makes. I gave up a 6-fig job just to be there when my kids are learning - reading to them & then to you, guiding, paving way, chastising, bonding, enjoying fun, cheering, interpreting their moves & helping them steer fr trouble, admit up to mistakes, make friends, respect & give to teachers, sharing with others & so much more that I can’t articulate enuf coz you will hv together time which only your family will appreciate & come to rmbr in years to come.

I can find my own niche anytime, but childhood time with them lost can’t wind back time.
