Yes. Usually it appears in question 33 (i.e. 阅读理解二A组) but it can be set as question 40 (i.e. 阅读理解二B组). In that event, question 33 will become an OE comprehension type of question, for example 广告中有那两个吸引人的地方？/ 如果你是主办者，你会通过什么方法吸引人们参加比赛？ / 你通过这则通告得到了什么信息？etc.

In last year's Prelim, Nanhua; Pei Hwa; Raffles Girls were amongst the schools that set it this way. More schools have done so this year.

I can’t tear my kid away from watching YouTube and all the time wasting..school also giving quite a bit of work, especially maths. Worst is cannot focus so instead of an hour’s work, can became 2h etc. No time to do papers as well. Only hope the one week break can do a bit more. Any of your kid throwing more tantrums or being more difficult than usual? Sign of stress? So I don’t dare to push much harder, trying to stay as calm as possible myself and pray hard...

chenlaoshi, yr eg reference to qn 33 & 40 means require the students to give own opinion kinda of qn/answer?

dd still spending alot of time (to me even sacrificing her sleeping hours) on laptop online learning (she needs the laptop for checking of meaning of words & also to listen to songs). Trying to take away her laptop seems to be sooo difficult. She was sad with her results, told me she will listen to me and admitted the online materials were not enough..but 2 days later went back old ways..it crosses my mind to load her more so that she doesn't have time to use her laptop..but will I make her browsing through only but not reading properly or will I ended up loading her too much that result in stress

Yes I feel our kids have the same problem. Make resolutions but don’t materialise. Can’t imagine how to survive secondary school with much heavier workload.

when I pack her stuffs, I find her filing is really bad ..school notes everywhere..for many, school/tuition notes are very precious, revise before exam..but mine almost never. Me too, am beginning to worry for her secondary studies also. Sometimes I will think what jobs can dont need follow up arh..

also the same arh..then dd also quite normal la.. maybe I worry too much. Yesterday still asked me to chill..chill what and how to chill..I told her she is the one need to chill as I m going to give her works.
