Our “breakfast meeting” usually last 2 hours.

Weekdays hardly have the opportunity to sit down and yak over breakfast.

Another reason I suspect is food too salty. Thus, need more Teh-O kosong to flush down the salt!

Honestly, $7 for Teh-O kosong where got worth? Plus the cups they use are really teeny weeny.
I agree with you expensive.. very small cup must drink small sips..

Agree with MKS - genes! We've always had good white lighting in our home, and we've controlled screen time strictly. My husband's myopia was very high, and mine fairly high. Both girls are myopic - one quite bad, the other like me. And the one with the more severe myopia read less, played outdoors more, was less glued to the computer... It's mostly in the genes!

Going with my girls to B*dazzle this afternoon - they’ve finally decided to get their ears pierced! Hope there won’t be a big crowd there. My mum will be the happiest as she’s been nagging them to do it for years. I’m ok either way so I’ve left it to them to decide.

I was hoping to research about Hangzhou this afternoon, but there’s still time. We booked flights and hotel yesterday, so now my job is to figure out what to do during our 3 days. So, now I need to drill down to specifics - what would be the recommendations for the top things to do/see? Is it worth going to Suzhou on a day trip? We’re more into history and scenery, less into food and shopping.

DH does not have myopia. Mine was moderate. DS has has perfect eyesight while DD has slight astig.

DH attributed his good eyesight to not reading much. 😂 He claimed never to have ever finished a single novel or storybook.

Think genes play a huge part. Of course we still have to do the necessary to take care of whatever gene we gave inherited.

Doc told me it is genes…one told me something like it also your degree at the time you gave birth. They likely cannot escape one…

we been to suzhou for day trips kinda thing..10 years back I still can hop into old shops selling beancurd with youtiao when the weather was too cold then, which I really enjoyed..but like dont really see those old structures/gardens I had expected to see..now I guess will be more like modern city with big shopping ctrs? which I really not interested in..I must admit I didnt google on the targeted places to go.. So to me better to check what you want to see else like all cities will look abt the same.

Meal prep day. Again mainly fo my mafan DS.

Helper still has not fully grasped our dietry preferences even though she is capable of cooking. Told her many times that DS needs meat as in pork, chicken, beef, kinda meat and he is allergic to shellfish and squid. But she can still cook a shrimp or egg dish and consider that meat or add shrimps to the veg which means DS cannot eat them.

I shouldn’t be posting this under ME TIME…but since the issue of myopia is mentioned, I thought maybe I should alert you on high chances of retina detachment for those with degree of short sightedness. hubby has high degree of myopia and experienced retina detachment twice. please look after kids’ eyes.
