slmkhoo, its 3 days trip -sweet & swift .
can share which airline did u manage to get for gd deal. rather fresh to hear for short trip to hz
      how long is flight?
usu 3 days people go to bkk, phuket, bali, bintan, msia, indo etc
Scoot, and not a good deal. Air tickets came to just over $500 per person! But we don't have the luxury of waiting for a good deal as we only have a narrow window to travel in the next few months. We're just not keen on SE Asia for this trip - my husband travels to some of them quite often, and I don't like beaches. Flight is about 5 hrs, I think.

Err... there are people I know who do 3+ days trip to Europe (leave in the wee hours of Friday, come back in the early morning of Sunday). They don't mind doing it because:
        1. Singapore is boring
        2. Tickets are pretty cheap (ID ticket)
        3. Hotels are affordable (industry rate)
        4. They just need that latest season handbag
        :siam:
:yikes: Isn't that a whole day just for travelling?? 12 hours there and 12 hours back?

Crazy, right? But I also know people who will go to Europe for 3-4 days. HZ is as far as I will go for 3 days (actually 5 days if you include travel days).
