What kind of fruits and veggies should I introduce to my 12-month-old son? I am worried that his tummy might not be happy with the fruits and veggies I can think of and I wanted to ask experienced mothers here of their suggestions and experiences of the pros and cons of the fruits and veggies he can have. First-time mommy here!
By 12 mths, a child can eat all normal foods. Just introduce them in small amounts one at a time in case of allergies, but after eating a few times with no problems, then the food is OK. In fact, he should have been introduced to a range of common fruit and veg over the past 6 mths.

        Agree with slmkhoo.

I avoided giving kids fruits like orange or grapes when they are very young due to personal belief that it is phlegm inducing. It does not happen to every kid as far as I know.

For the same reason, I avoided cooling vegetables as well. I stuck with neutral vegetables like pumpkin, asparagus, carrot, potatoes, spinach, ....

If my child is constipated, can I incorporate chia seeds to his food aside from letting him drink lots of water?

Regarding a healthy diet for toddlers, it’s important to focus on nutrient-rich options. Include a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and dairy. Remember to consult a pediatrician for specific dietary recommendations for your little one.

I’ve tried magnesium to fight insomnia, but it didn’t work for me.
