Oh, thanks for replying. Maybe my girl school different, the teacher told the students can only bring in one. She has 2 approved stickers. Okay never mind next time I ask my younger kid to ask the teacher to confirm.

Hi all, although maths paper is over. I am curious is it the student can only bring one calculator to the exam hall? In other forum, there are many parents who suggest bring 2 calculators in case one does not work..but today my girl was only allowed to bring one although we have prepared 2 as last few days the old calculators seems to have some fault.
School practice. Some schools don't restrict the number of calculators that your child can bring in.
Have faith that the school will definitely have back up calculators in the event the child forgets to bring, or in the event that the calculator breaks down.

HI, I am also a student writing PSLE this year. For the part c on this question, I don't understand how the angle can be 85 degrees there bcos when i measured using my protractor, it was more than 90. So then how do we know that it is 85? Since both can be possible, true and false, my math teacher says that we should put NPTT. 🤷

It said its not drawn to scale.....[/quote]Even so, how can they give an obtuse angle and in the working it shows as 85 degrees, an acute angle? So it cant be 85 degrees right?

Is anyone familiar with the marking criteria for math long answer qn? If the answer is correct, but the methods/ steps shown are entirely wrong, will there be any mark given?
If the method is entirely wrong, then this is considered a fluke situation.
i.e. you happen to arrive at an identical numerical value by coincidence.

No method and answer mark will be awarded.
