Red Bull.

I love A&W Root Beer.
It has a higher sugar content than regular Coke!
I am not so worried about the sugar level in 3-in-1 instant coffee but I am more concerned about the (zero milk content) artificial creamer / palm oil -

Read the labels! As a guideline - soft drinks and fruit drinks usually have around 10-12g of sugar per 100ml. Those drinks with \"less sugar\" like Jasmine tea are still around 6g per 100ml. 3-in-1 coffee made to instructions is around 5g per 100 ml. There are artifically sweetened drinks which are \"no sugar\" but still sweet. There is now at least one brand of packaged Oolong tea without sugar.
Not all bottled drinks have such high sugar content, right? The challenge is to identify them. At work, I will need a cup of 3in1 coffee which I admit has quite high sugar content. When not at work, I try not to drink it though at times just can't resist the urge.
If you are not pre-diabetic, it's OK to drink these types of drinks occasionally, but probably not daily. Why not get your office to buy 2-in-1 (without sugar) coffee or just have the 3 ingredients separately so people can tailor their own coffee? -
I have switched from my regular Teh O, to Teh O kosong, at my office few months ago, in a bid to lose some weight.
It tastes absolutely disgusting and no kick (I have a very sweet tooth). But I did lose weight. Tiny bit of consolation though it makes me miserable in my tastebuds lol. -

My office doesn’t provide drinks
I tried 2in1 without sugar; coffee tastes really bitter
Too troublesome for me to mix the 3 ingredients -
Lucky for me I dun like sweet stuff and drink my tea kosong. Coffee, not that often but it is kosong as well.
It’s a matter of training your tastebuds.
I have a few staff, only in their 20s and are at risk of diabetes. Even with the risk being highlighted to them by their doctors they are still not cutting back on sugary drinks. I see them drinking a whole 1l pack of barley drink or those supposedly cooling drink, everyday or sometimes fruit juice as well. I provide only 2 in 1 coffee in the office, they bring their own coffee instead. -

You can try to wean yourself off gradually - use the 2 in 1, and add some sugar (just 1 more step!), but not as much as the 3 in 1. Then you can gradually cut down to very little or none? Another thing you could try is to premix it yourself. I mix coffee and sugar in a jar at home for my daughter, and she adds milk when she makes her coffee. You could also add creamer, then you'll have your own 3 in 1. I do it at home to reduce sugar, and also so she gets some milk instead of non-dairy creamer.

I don't drink coffee, but I drink tea without sugar. Initially, from Singapore, I was used to sweet tea, but in the UK, most of my friends didn't put sugar in their tea. So partly from watching my weight and partly from laziness (because they said \"I have no sugar in my room, go get your own!\"), I got used to drinking tea without sugar. Now I find that sugared tea, even if only a bit, doesn't taste as nice. -

You'll get used to it. Maybe switch to a milder tea? Then it won't be as astringent in taste. I don't like coffeeshop tea because it's too strong (intended to be drink with sugar or condensed milk). And I don't like evaporated milk either. But I drink 3-4 cups of tea a day, either at home or at the office - Liptons (because I don't want to spend too much) with powdered milk.

For years I’ve been making my own tea with a spoonful of manuka honey. I prefer the smoothness in my tea. On occasions when I hv to drink tea outside, it’s awlful so s’times i just order w/o sugar & whip out my honey sticks.
Not sure if honey are healthier than adding sugar but I ensure I get the NZ ones coz I’ve read some other honey source are loaded with sugar to sweeten their products. I never buy China or Thai honey. Only NZ Honey. Maybe expensive habit. Maybe just self-consolation. -
That’s an interesting twist to the drink Esteema! Manuka honey has immune-boosting properties too.
Actually my whole family drinks plain water. It’s an ingrained habit already. We only drink sweet drinks occasionally, like when offered packet drinks at other people’s houses.
My Teh O kosong is for survival caffeine only (kick start my engine & staying awake in the morning).
