You are fast! The Principal’s letter just posted an hour ago 🙂

Ohh... thats good to know.. however i assume priority goes to the current student's who are in school now.. my boy will be enrolled next year to P1... just hoping that we can get a slot at the in-house student care if possible.
Was there any webpage/link/number that we can call to check?

      Thanks,
      Gie

Try calling the school’s general office to check. Probably haven’t even called for tender to see who’s the potential operator. But maybe they can advise you what’s the chances/procedure to apply etc.

As far as I know, they will try to accommodate all the P1s as they need the SCC service the most. The upper primary kids tend not to need it as much (they stay back most afternoons for CCAs and supplementary classes). So the demand from that group will drop off.[/quote]Thanks for the heads up. Will check with the school directly then.

There’s some announcement on the school’s website albeit not with a lot of information. See this link https://acsj.moe.edu.sg/qql/slot/u188/docs/General%20Information%202019/5th%20Principal%27s%20Letter%20%2812%20July%2019%29.pdf

You will receive a book list, don’t worry.

Certain items on that list (such as basic art supplies, school logo socks) seriously, don’t need to buy. We never used them. The school socks are very narrow cut, doesn’t fit most kids.

So just get the bare essentials (Maths & Chinese text books + work books). Non-core textbooks like Music books, can share. Anything else, eg Exercise book, if really needed for Spelling, teacher will inform & ask them to buy from school bookshop themselves later on.
