shark’s fin melon - the whole melon is usually available in Giant - sometimes the melon is too huge for small families.

Advantage of whole sharks fin melon is it can keep a bit longer. Half melons need to be cooked quite quickly. Still, it’s not as fragile as watercress which i call princess leaves…looks wilt in 2 days.

The shark fin melon can last quite a few days.

me too...I only buy a quarter. the entire melon would be too big to cook and kids will get sick of drinking same soup.

I been looking around for thermal pot(s) these few days.. I have 2 units 3.5l which I find useful for soups, porridge or just to keep dishes warm..now looking to get another one..probably a small one like 2 or 2.5l but worry if size too small it will affect its effectiveness as in maybe the heat generated from the smaller portion of food will be weaker? For bigger one like 5l but comes with 2 inner pots, to me I guess probably work as well as 3.5l too as the bigger inner pot has some space taken up by the smaller top inner pot? would like to hear some experiences from parents 😄

I had a 5L one but didn't find it effective (not hot enough) as I usually wasn't able to fill it completely. The inner pot will only help if it's also full. I would expect that any size of thermal pot will work well as long as it's full.
