          Heard ntuc income also launched a 3 yr 2.3%pa guaranteed.

            These are all insurance link deposits right? As in endowment? There are conditions tied to it as I’m aware.


            Hv to digest the fine prints. FDs with Banks are not as high interests but str-fwd.

                Yes, these are endowments and not the plain FDs. Pls read fine print

                  Yes endowment, written very clearly in their website.


                  Anyway the HS and Pru ones are very straight forward.
                  One written out of the non participating fund and one from the participating fund.

                  Of course, please do your own due diligence when buying any product.

                    Not really FDs, but I guess it’s ok as all are considered “low risk - low returns” investments.


                    I put some money into this 5-year Maybank’s Structured Deposits (also not really FDs) which pays a higher interest than FDs. 5yr plan is even longer than 3yr leh.

                    The 3 year Endowment plan means one better not terminate the policy prematurely. But even for FDs, think nowadays, there’s also penalties if we withdraw early.
