Work is never ending and am clearing leave in Nov and Dec . Not going anywhere though would like to go HK but the situation doesn't seem ok.
Just realised Spore Airshow in 2020 and the year is a leap year which means we hv to work an extra day

Stay away fr HK, it’s in total shambles. Destroyed by the young ppl who don’t valye public properties of lives of public officers. They’re venting all their heart & soul in a very unconstructive way to cry out for attention. The entire place looks like a Satanic controlled country even on university grounds.
Told my kids never to follow the blind blindly & loose themselves in the huge mindless crowd. There’re always better ways to civilly talk things out. -

But even then, I stopped using my leather cover (which was used to distinguish my own passport from others in my family). Nowadays I just use label sticker to label everybody’s name big big on the outside of the passport. One glance can see whose and pass to whoever to manage themselves. -
I keep a couple of cards with the passport. A plastic cover usually comes with some pockets for the cards.

so i also past name stickers on passport
only my girl still have a nice cover - put back after pass all customs - i keep hers coz too sweet & nice cover -

If that's the main reason for having a cover, maybe get a small pouch that can hold passport plus the cards? Or just carry them separately? I usually separate out my cash/cards/valuables and carry them apart from my passport. In airports, you usually have to produce your passport many times nowadays, and when using cards, I don't want to bring my passport out every time.
