Malay / Arabic is open to all students who have gained admission to Express and NA. Unless your child has a keen interest in the Asian language, I won’t encourage or be bothered with it.

+3 if you apply to a SAP school.

And check the eligibility letter if you actually do get the 3 points. In theory, a person can get a distinction in higher chinese but do not get the +3 if his t score is not within a certain percentage of the cohort.

There is a condition


only if u fall inside the Top 30 % of the entire PSLE cohort, then can apply your +3 bonus points for Higher Chinese, if apply to SAP schools

Otherwise, if Not inside nor within Top 30 %, even if score +3, no use, because cannot apply

Example

If your raw Tscore is 224, and u scored +3 points for Higher chinese, cannot apply your bonus points, because

raw Tscore (224), fall outside of Top 30 % entire PSLE cohort
