My son scored 258, I chose school in the following order. Any feedbacks?

      1) RI
      2) ACS IP
      3) Victoria
      4) St Joseph
      5) Temasek JC
      6) National JC.

Just for knowledge, may I ask how does affiliation for Fairfield Methodist School (FMS) to ACJC work? FMS does not have IP so does it mean students have to take O-levels and based on COP to be allocated? I check ACJC COP is 9 for outsiders but slightly higher for affiliated students?

Hi, first time mummy to P6 kid. Want to seek advice if this is a suitable way for sec school selection if score is 241.

First 3 selections @ 242 (CGS, CCHM, SM)
              Last 3 selections @238, 236 and 234 COP

Would it be too much a risk to put 3 selections with 1 pt higher than 2018 COP and would it be safe to stop at 234 COP?
              Thanks

If ACJC COP is 9 for L1R5, affiliated students only need to score 11 for L1R5 (11-2=9). In order to have L1R5, you would obviously have to take O Level (otherwise, you canโ€™t receive a O Level score).

Note that max bonus is 4 points and it is possible to achieve that bonus without factoring any affiliation bonus.

I was told , student still report to the allocated sec sch n after that go to the desired sch to appeal, but does anyone know what is the waiting time to know your appeal is successful or not?

Very fast. Less than 30 minutes.
You can even appeal to schools that are not in yr 6 choices.
                  Provided you are above cop.

Omg so fast 30 min u can know your appeal successful or not....wow
