Is the jacket mandatory to buy?

It is not mandatory to buy the jacket. However on certain occasions or visits when the students are in uniform and because a jacket is needed due to air-conditioned environment, only the SST jacket is allowed to be worn.

I would like to assume that the spec indicated in the website will be the minimum requirements for the learning device to last a total of 4 years. But I also saw that the spec given by one of the vendor is 1.4GHz.
As such, i would recommend for you to call up the teacher in charge using the given no to make your enquiry. Alternatively, u can also call the General Office if the teacher is not available to take yr call. -

The 1.4GHz from JK is quad core which is a higher spec than the minimum requirement from the school (1.8GHz dual core). -

Sitex is on at Expo until Sunday. Can check it out before ordering from JK although I must say JK is the most attractive price and meet the specs. The ones at Challenger & Gain City looks like a good deal but have the old Mac OS Mojave. The school mentioned Mac OS Catalina. -
