      2020 Year 1 orientation camp is 6-8 Jan.

      How do you know the dates? Was there a letter sent out? Thx

      We won't be in SG during reporting day, so when I called the RI office to inquire about some admin matters, I asked about the camp dates too.[/quote] :thankyou: for sharing the info. Did you manage to buy uniform and books? My boy no longer counting down to reporting day. he said that will mean holiday will be over soon. :rotflmao:

According to some of the parents here, not all the textbooks will be used in class, so we don't plan to get everything on the book list (which will only be available on reporting day). If you pre-order the books now, you HAVE to buy the full set, cannot pick and choose.

          What is the camp you are referring to? Is it the camp for the students entering Year 1 next year?

          If yes, what are the dates, timings and details of this camp?
          :thankyou:

              No.

              So part of the packing list is a set of white uniform? Hopefully not too crumpled...

                We put the set of uniform on a hanger and use something like this

                https://www.lazada.sg/products/home-living-suit-bag-i303126609-s536408239.html?ef_id=EAIaIQobChMI1b37trC15gIVjx0rCh1SHgibEA0YFCABEgJZvfD_BwE:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!4281!3!294855072887!!!u!765233839588!&exlaz=d_1:mm_150050845_51350205_2010350205::12:1559617391!64674312208!!!pla-765233839588!m!765233839588!536408239!132052768!294855072887&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1b37trC15gIVjx0rCh1SHgibEA0YFCABEgJZvfD_BwE

                But fold once horizontally at mid point and flip the bottom side up and clothes peg it onto the hanger so it won't be too bulky to carry. You can put a cardboard in between to give it more stiffness to avoid crumple. And label it.

                  Whenever DS needs to bring uniform to school, I usually fold it like those new shirts in stores (put a thick cardboard in the middle) and put inside A3 size ziplock bag (can buy from Daiso). I put the shorts/pants together in the same ziplock bag. This can be put inside DS’s school bag. The cardboard and the ziplock bag was reused for 6 years.
