No, I don't. I got the figure from physical count on the photo taken on last year's rgs orientation. Safer to say 40s to 50s.

There are about 270 girls in each RGPS cohort. So I am curious how is it possible that you could recognize every single one of them? And also what are the chances that every single one of them are captured in the orientation photos?

I got this photo of last year RGS orientation taken from the 2nd storey directly above the hall. All the students were wearing their primary school uniforms sitting on the floor of the hall. All I did is to count the number of RGPS uniforms in the photo. I said about 40s to 50s. Up to you to believe.

Based on my gal’s graduation year in 2017, out of the 178 parents in my RGS parent chat group, 52 girls were from RGPS. Every year RGS intake is 400. I believe the no. of RGPS girls graduated in 2017 admitted to RGS would definitely be more than 52.

Probably, let’s give it 70s sparingly. Assuming some could not make it to orientation.

RGS is by far the most popular secondary school among RGPS students followed by Cresent Girls' school. I believe 90% of all P6s who meet the RGS cut off point or have the ability to DSA into RGS will end up at RGS.

If we based on 270 cohort size and approx 50% of the girls will score above 250 (historical data), that will be 135 students, which is safe to say that around 90 students per cohort each year will meet the RGS cut off point. And if we include those who have successfully DSA into RGS, the final number could be in the region of 90 to 100.

Would like to know if RGPS uses a school-issued student handbook (with calendar of events etc), or if its advisable to buy one for the child from outside?
