Me Time!

i’m really new to the job. hope to pick up something new.
looking at daughter’s timetable.
due to parents’ complaints about their kids eating late lunches, with effect from next year, students get meal vouchers if school curriculum ends after 2pm.
i’m happy my girl will be dismissed early because she has been taking lunch close to 3pm and dinner at 8+ because she can’t eat at 7. -
My 1st countdown together with DH (just colleagues back then) was exactly 20years ago!
A bunch of us booked a hotel to sleep in for the convenience after the millennia Countdown
Year 1999 was a memorial year as it was the 20th century crossing over to the new millennium. Everyone in the office was busy doing back-up, upgrading software, worrying about the Y2K bug, how computer systems worldwide might not recognize the change in date formats from 99 to 00.

my son turns 20 this month.
starting today, IMM only has free parking for 1st hour. -
We went to watch Ip Man 4 together as a family. Son complained it was too violent (he doesn’t see the point of people beating each other up). But he is finally at the age where he can understand the more mature issues portrayed like racism, gang level bullying, father struck by cancer etc.
He is looking forward to going back to school tmr. So am I, looking forward to my me-time again.
Started intermittent fasting, will go jogging 2x a week hoping to lose weight in 2020. -
Happy new year to all!
So crowded at Bata now. 2 for $40, 2 for $60 for school shoes still on today…
