          Erm... where does it say it's 100? I'm aware it's 90.

          You calculate the UAS with 3H2 + 3H1 = 20x3 + 10x3 = 90. (full UAS)

            @jtoh, u are right.

            The total ranking points/university admission score(without MTL)= 0.9*(H2 Grade Points+H1 points+GP points + PW points)

            Grade H2 H1
            A 20 10
            B 17.5 8.75
            C 15 7.5
            D 12.5 6.25
            E 10 5
            S 5 2.5
            U 0 0

              Max UAS is 90 points.

              It consists of 3 x H2 subjects and 3 x H1 subjects.

Max for each H2 subject is 20 points.

Max for each H1 subject is 10 points.

Hence, they totalled up to a max 90 points.

If students add in MT (H1), it will add up to UAS of 100 points. But they must be pro-rated down to 90 points.

Add in MT only if the calculation improves your overall UAS score. If not, leave it out.

It's not 0.9* etc as you have written above.

It's 3H2 + 1H1 + PW + GP. MTL score is only taken into account if it increases your UAS.

While if the student takes 4H2 + 1PW+1GP, then how to calculate ? Let’s said , all As. How much is the UAS ?

Still the same. 3H2 + 1H1 + PW + GP. So his 4th H2 (the lowest scoring one) is scored as an H1 subject. So if he scores all As, UAS is 90.
