Yes you can, as it is a full school.
hi, if my girl went into MGS secondary via DSA, can my girl's daughter gain priority to register in MGS primary school? my girl does not come from MGS primary, though. :?: -
My friend’s P4 DD studies at MGS. Her neighbour’s P6 DD (also from MGS) scored an A* from PSLE Maths this year (improved from her P5 SA2’s 82 marks). My friend is concerned after reading about the “tough” 2019 PSLE Maths paper so she is keen to sign her DD up for the same tutor (home tuition small class). However, her DD is not free on Fridays next year (the only P5 class with vacancies). The home tutor will consider opening a new class if there are at least 4 confirmed sign-ups. Please pm me for the tutor’s contact if you are interested. As every kid is different, I suggest that you check with the tutor if your DD can attend a trial class (I think you need to pay for it). You can ask your DD how she finds the lesson after her trial class before signing her up.

Hello everyone, my family will be renting a place near the school for the purpose of applying in Phase 2B. Just two questions:
1) For the purpose of distance-based balloting, are we supposed to change the address on our ICs to that on the Tenancy Agreement? Or will the Tenancy Agreement alone suffice? I want to make sure I am following the right procedures.
2) What is the technical date by which we should have our home addresses? For instance, using this year’s registration starting date as an example (3 July 2019), does that mean I only need to be at the address by end June? Or is there an earlier date, such as end May?
Thank you very much! -

So far no updates but mostly balloting <1km for 2B and 2C every year. I do remember 2018 and 2019 were the same situation.

QUESTION: Both 2B and 2C will provide at least 20 seats EACH category right, according to MOE... but if more spaces leftover after 2A, they will equally divide the slots between 2B and 2C.
So am I correct by saying - if I live within 1Km and am a Methodist... The only way I ever happen to unluckily get into a ballot (with the least slots of 20 seats each 2B & 2C), is if there are more than 40 <1km registered kids that year, am I right? Mathematically.... Yes??
And say if theres a good year of 35 slots each for 2B and 2C, and since <1km gets in first for each category, there would need to be more than 70 <1km registered kids for me to even enter ballot, is this correct?
:thankyou: -

Incorrect. In your illustration of 35 for 2B and 35 for 2C, you will get into a 2B ballot when there are at least 36 within 1km.
You will get into a ballot if there are at least 21 within 1km.ricedoll\" post_id=\"1973138\" time=\"1588079555\" user_id=\"165813:[quote=ricedoll post_id=1973138 time=1588079555 user_id=165813]And say if theres a good year of 35 slots each for 2B and 2C, and since <1km gets in first for each category, there would need to be more than 70 <1km registered kids for me to even enter ballot, is this correct?

Thank you! So being in 2B in worst case guarantees you 2 rounds of balloting right?
I have searched balloting history but they showed the percentage and stuff (without breaking down how many <1km or 1-2km in each 2B/2C category)… I know almost every year theres balloting within 1km but how many are booted out? 2 or 12 or 20? How do I know? -

We don’t have the stats from MOE. But so far <1km odds quite good. Probably only about 10-20% ballot out.
