Seems like a drop from 85 last year?

Yes, its a drop compared to last yr result.

New JC is like that. Will take some time to stablise.

What about your beloved NYJC? The UAS went up or down this year?[/quote]Ejc 3 H2 A% dropped from 45% to 33%
        Median from 85 to 83.
        Sharp drop.
        No value add.
        Mean wd be 80..

The JAE intake also differs. 1st batch COP was Arts 9 Sc 9, 2nd batch COP was Arts 11 Sc 10.
As EJC was in a temp site then, even PSLE students also shunned their IP program.

Just curious how did NYJC’s first few batches fare?

Anyway, referring to the tscore is quite irrelevant unless you have a similar breakdown of the tscore of students who joined NYJC. Maybe there was someone who scored 278 who chose to do O-levels and subsequently joined NYJC? Who knows.

Foiling my question with another question? A valiant but fruitless effort in trying to avoid my earlier questions. I am going to ask you for the 3rd time. What is the median UAS of your beloved NYJC, so this year’s median UAS went up or went down?

If you want to cross compare 1st and 2nd batches of IP cohort, then you have to show that the 2nd batch IP students are as strong as the 1st batch.

I have already shown to you the differences between the 2 JAE batches based on the O-level COP

FYI, 1st batch IP students went in with tscore as high as 275 as this batch chose EJC with temp site at Bishan in mind. Subsequent batches, many students avoided EJC after they learnt that the temp site had been switched to Mt Sinai.

Do you have difficulties understanding my English? I have already said that we cannot conclude EJC doesn’t value add based on 2 batches only.

Sorry, I can’t be bothered with what NYJC link. Since you can derive, you can tell us all instead of evading my simple questions. For the 4th time I am asking you, what is the median UAS of NYJC. So has its median UAS gone up or gone down this year?

2nd batch IPs not as strong?
                    Your opinion only.
They re still De Top 1-5 % P6 scorers to enter EJC Sec 1.
U mean only ~275 scorers can excel better in A level ah.

I reckoned the diff in cop of EJC JAEs. But still 200+ size.

Go n tell yr supporters that now cant conclude if EJC value add or not. Not me.

Why u like to compare with Ny ah.
Better chance if u compare with Tjc, Acjc, other JCs.

Hi. Any feedback on those lecture recordings? DS say pretty bad. When are they going to resume live lectures? Heard that the Lecture theatre not ready.

If you don't mind me saying this. The year EJC COP was 9/10, I think that year many JCs' COP also increase, including RJC and HCI.

Not sure about the reasons. But could be due to less competition amid a drop in the total number of students, which also see MOE closing a number of secondary schools and merging JCs?
