Anyone got 2018 and 2019 balloting history for Nan Chiau Primary School (NCPS)?


Wondering whether balloting is required for SC within 1km for Phase 2B.

Also, does the school write on the white board or will the teachers answer the parents on the no. of applicants for each category during the registration days?

For Dragon and “hot” years, balloting for SC < 1km. For other years, balloting for SC between 1 to 2km. Trend is increasing towards balloting < 1km because SHHK has made it easier to be eligible for Phase 2B.

For NCPS, I don’t think the school needs to write. It’s understood that Phase 2C is balloting for SC < 1km (school will advise those > 1km who register in person to consider other schools), and anyone > 1km in Phase 2B is just taking a chance.

If I got a chance for phase 2b aitong ( 1-2km) Vs 2b Catholic high ( less than 1km)… for registration in year 2022… Which is a better chance? Or can I assume that aitong will have no slots for 1-2km in phase 2b.

Ai Tong probably no chance or low probability of 1-2Km. Catholic High definitely can ballot <1km.
