100% legal. However, you may be asked to remove them when entering private property / places, such as banks, shopping malls, etc. I’ll be very surprised if the masked person isn’t being harassed by station security and TransCom officers
Is it even legal to wear those ski masks in singapore? -

Probably he/she's been asked to removed it when the security saw it, but put it back on when in the train. not uncommon...

May I add on to the sanitization of the tables and surfaces, perhaps its better to bring a bottle of diluted dettol than to use the already "limited" hand sanitizers. I once saw a lady whip out her small hand sanitizer bottle… squirt out a big dollap of it on the table and use a tissue to wipe it off… not the most effective i would say as 1/2 the tiny bottle’s content is gone and the table is not neccessarily clean after done.

The 70% alcohol hand sanitizers will damage many furniture and flooring types (it’s harsh on hands too). Much better and safer to use dilute Dettol to wipe surfaces, though I do believe the 70% alcohol is still the most effective in killing viruses and germs.

Are you sure your eyes were saucer-wide enough?! She used this type?
Alcohol wipes my frd brot along is intended more for restaurants in countries she’s visiting. I’ve seen my highly kiasi PRC frd uses those medical alcohol wipes on all her cutleries before we hv our meals together.
Ha ha! My eyes was opened wide wide then (pre- COVID-19 days) when I see this PRC wipe all her cutleries with alcohol wipes. As most PRCs do, they don’t drink fr our tap but order big bottles of mineral water & dispense fr it to cook!

Or the FOOD-SAFE type (alcohol-free, paraben-free) to clean toddlers' utensils?

I have non-medical alcohol wipes from Daiso which have a really strong alcohol smell. Can't possibly eat my food with 25% alcohol!

Using distilled water to cook is something quintessentially 'PRC', as their tap water is too hard. Everyone who lives in China will have this 19 L water dispenser at home. Old habits die hard. -
oh yah zeit, you reminded me too - many PRCs have the UV sterilizers at home for dishes and cutlery as well.

Disturbing to learn that 2 new cases in Thailand came from Thais who recently visited Hokkaido.

We have to remain vigilant to safeguard ourselves from friends and strangers returning from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan (which has just raised its response alert level to the highest).
How to possibly trace those have who falsified or omitted their travel history from the embarkation cards, especially if they had flown in from Incheon or Busan after taking the train, bus or private car from Daegu or Cheongdo? The religious sect has several branches all over Korea, including Seoul. -
My impression is alcohol evaporated after it does its cleansing jobs anyway.
Yes, mineral water is their way of life in China. But after staying in SG for the last 8-9 years still using big bottles of mineral water for drinking, cooking & watering plants? That’s 奢侈 to the max. Need to adapt once u mix ard, unless no confidence in SG then maybe hometown is more comfortable? -
I won’t use alcohol wipes for my plates etc
Hokkaido seems brewing the covid storm. -

I’ve nvr done that either. Wonder how my frds will manage when they eat out with unknown waiting staff serving & handling everything at the table. :scratchhead:
