Would closure of school apply to student care?
No point closing schools if kids can still go to student care. If that is the case I would rather they go to school since school compound is bigger with open space.
My friend’s kids in HK have been stuck at home since 3 Feb. And 2 days ago, HK government has announced a further extension of school closure till 20 April. Similar, my friends in Japan are wondering what to do since their government has announced school closure till 3rd April. No laughing matter. For expats, they are luckier since one parent is usually not working. For locals, jialat.floppy\" post_id=\"1965244\" time=\"1582851115\" user_id=\"97579:
Closing schools is not a small matter and Singapore possibly hasn't reach that stage which requires to do so.
HK schools hv been closed for some months and look at the repercussions.
Now Japan is thrown into confusion due to the abrupt closure of schools from 2 Mar -

mrs ks, what is about panadol that u heard of ?doodbug\" post_id=\"1965260\" time=\"1582856332\" user_id=\"13281:
Apart from those who were in the Wuhan-Singapore evacuation flights, almost all the cases in Singapore involved having to see a GP or Emergency Department for multiple visits! It's really really difficult to narrow down who should be further tested for COVID-19 as the symptoms are general.

So unless mcys makes it compulsory to follow moe, which is my original question. Student care is a private entity. For families with no other choice and work doesnt allow alternative arrangement, at least they have another option.

If student care is within school compound, the answer is likely to be closure since the school compound will be out of bounds.
If it’s one of those private entity outside, they are not subjected to the rule unless MSF says so. In all likelihood, if one government agency (MOE) moves towards suspension, you can be sure that the other ministry will follow. -
The enrichment/tuition centers have already told us that they will follow suit if MOE closes the schools.
Aka they have backup plans to roll out e-learning (tutors upload lessons/issue worksheets/give comments etc via email or video feed) should the schools close, they have intention to follow also.
But I dunno how MSF is going to handle it. Or even ECDA for preschoolers. -

So full fees still apply? Video conferencing for lessons ?
