Australian govt kept increasing new advisory & tightening ppl fr gathering. Now only 2 can gather.

For SG, then 1-1 tuition still works? Yday was just highlighted by frd calling fr Tianjian that we shld get adjusted to e-learning as this COVID-19 May last a longer time. Methinks they’ve developed a culture only bcoz of their vast country, unlike for SG parents, we aim for good teachers/tutors/coaches & wld adjust our errands according to where we’ve to send our kids to.

She had also advices best get used to cashless transactions so as not to come into contact & catching viruses thro ‘innocent’ transactions. Just had to protests many of our elderly are not tech savvy & averse to wring deductions of their accounts. Her solution, programme voice prompts! I’m sure once this storm is over, we can move ahead with suitable changes.

We can't be running to a clinic once we have a cold, sore throat, cough or even fever, right?
I know how most of us feels esp when just onset of cough, sore throat or sneezes. I was feeling guilty last couple of days with a sore, tight throat & kept thinking besides drinking plenty of minty cool herbs. Thankfully, today no sore throat. During times like this, some ppl can get overly anxious & even depression when cant go out much, or meet frds, etc. let’s keep each other sane.

        * Was thinking of Janet when collecting sanitizers for MIL, thinking non-alcohol based shld suit her sensitive skin best. Wonder how is she doing :?

Of course not. Like for my case, since very mild, I self-medicated and isolated myself from my family for the entire weekend, took a very powerful flu med and just slept and slept, vitamin C etc. Recovered after 3 days. Told my boss no MC but he (being a germaphobe) asked me to just work from home when I recovered & stay away from office.

If I hadn’t recovered, then I would have called the nearest PHPC and asked them how to proceed.

My daughter has a congenital heart defect and hence belongs to the vulnerable group. Thinking of taking her out of school for the time being and cover with a parent’s letter (and likely cardiologist one too). Anyone has stopped their kids from going?

Don't think any school will object. Is life n death matter.

Just write to them with your reason. Don’t even need medical reason actually.

Parents don’t need to worry so much about absenting their kids from school. If it’s reasonable absence, MOE can’t penalize.

I wld do that bcoz she’s special needing special care. Write to excuse her. But do plan for her daily time away fr her peers so she don’t feel bored or think negatively why she’s diff fr her peers. You’re the best mum to think of shielding her as COVID increasingly persisting ard us.

Talk to Sch leaders, prob Sch can arrange HBL package for such special cases students , Teachers can still upload Powerpt slides , student can learn download hw assignments etc or do online
Tution Center are asking kids e-learn via download , do , send PDF back to the online platform or email back to tutors. Am sure Sch should have such facility n capacity via SLS platform . Take care !
