Since the Scholarship application date has passed, why not give them a call to find out if there is still a possibility to apply. Give it a try and call them. Alternatively we can also apply for NTU bursary, it helps to cushion our financial load too.
Ok, noted with thanks.Desmond Tang\" post_id=\"1973215\" time=\"1588135020\" user_id=\"185268:
Your son can still login to his admission portal to apply for the Scholarship. If shortlisted, he will need to go for an interview and wait for the outcome. If unsuccessful there are other NTU financial aids available for your son to apply.Up to now, no news.
My son did not apply the \"LKCMedicine Scholarship\" during application.
May I know any one of your Son/Daughter has applied, what are the chances and how many NTU Medical students can get this Scholarship.
Thanks in advance.

Sharing some interesting writeup from HWZ Forum in Year 2018/2019 on the differences of the Medicine School. Happy reading!

Is the marks obtained during medicine interview at the both medical schools is the sole decisive factor to obtain the offer ?
If 2 students obtained the same marks and with 1 slot leave, school how to decide them ?
Anyone knows ? Thanks ! -

Nobody knows how the panel finalised the shortlisting and selection after the interviews. This is my views, guesses and opinions. Here are two students applying for both universities for medicine.

Example 2 JC students both opted to study all their subjects under H2 level. Student A got straight A's (RP 90) and Student B got AAA/B (RP 88.75). Both also taken BMAT, Student A scored a higher grades whereas Student B scored average high grades. Student A got good leadership experience, good testimonials and good referrals. Student B got some leadership experience, do volunteer work for the old folks, good testimonials and good referrals.
Both applied for NUS and NTU. Student A was not shortlisted by NTU but got shortlisted by NUS. Student B got shortlisted by both. So both NUS and NTU did their shortlisting differently. Each applicants have their unique strength and performances. They don't just based on academic results.
Finally is the MMI interviews. This one is very crucial and it determine your chances of success. The questions have no right or wrong answers but to find out are you the person that fit the profiles they are looking for.
Actually once you are shortlisted for the MMI, you are half way to success. The MMI interviews in my opinion is your readiness on that day. If you lack confident, nervous and your answers deviated too far from the questions then immediately you know you have performed poorly. The rest is luck after that. Human factors do play some part of the processes and the interviewers have the final jurisdiction.
Best of luck everyone! -
Thanks a lot Desmond Tang for your views.
So far anyone already received medicine offers ? If not , when can we receive ? -
Many persons talk about the second week of May.
May I know second week of May 2020 is from 4th May to 9 May , or from 11th May to 16 May 2020,or any other dates ? -

We re as anxious as our children waiting for the final outcome. For our kids taking the BMAT, submitting all personal statements and the MMI were like those ancient scholars taking their Chinese imperial exams, very tough and challenging. Hope all their hard works and patience bear fruits of their labour.

Looking at the possible dates, it should be around 4 - 8 May. The next following week would be the time frames for them to make decisions and also preparation for any scholarship interviews on May 16 as stated.
Let's us wait and hope for the best for our children. -
