I have 5yr old. I will give him lego games for 30min to 1hr per day. I made program to automatically shutdown my PC. So when the timer goes off, the PC will shutdown. But I told my kid that we have only this much time by the game provider. Over the month he also able to control his expectations of games. This worked well for me.

He can get games only if he finishes his duty for the day. I think during this circuit breaker, its ok to give them game times. We also play lot of board games in home. Of the time spent in home, he plays only 5% of the day he plays games.

In addition, I take him to park or stadium three or four times a week.

Hi pntts, that’s a very good idea. Setting a timer on the PC limits their usage of computer. Always a good idea to bond with kids such as you do!

It's hard to manage kids' screen time when they are already addicted to video games 😞

Yeah, there should always be some parental control over kids, agree with you :boogie:

I see nothing wrong in my kid playing games as long as it is not his main occupation
