I received a box of cheese cake for Mother’s Day (from a reputable F&B company) from my insurance agent.

Think the bakeries cannot bake cakes at their shop premises but allowed to bake at their factories. Or bring across from JB or Batam factories also can. The other day, saw hundreds of boxes of cakes waiting for collection at Awfully Chocolate. :scratchhead:

I suppose the regulations were hastily crafted and companies with sharp-eyed lawyers can find loopholes to exploit. Like the Bubble Tea, they quickly partner hot food stalls.
I think they are able to sell thru some partners, like what some BBT chains are doing

I need a haircut! But I don't want to go these first couple of days or during the weekend as I'm sure there'll be a long queue, and I'm busy on Thurs and Fri. Looks like I have to put up with my shaggy hair till Monday.
DH now waiting for his haircut. It’s a popular outlet but he said nobody waiting. He’ll be the first one when 11am starts. 😊

Yes. It was OK to sell bread during the past couple of weeks, but only the existing stock of cakes. They weren't allowed to bake more cakes, cookies etc. once the stock ran out. But from today, they can start again.

The good news is that few people are going to see you in that state! 😂

Zoom meetings! I don't look too untidy, but the hair on my neck irritates me. I'll manage till next week.

Maybe, but I think I'll just wait till next week. I've got meetings Thurs and Fri mornings this week anyway.

This particular photo (taken from Mothership) perturbed me. Can just stray disinfectant onto bread and biscuits meh?

Out of curiosity, checked the source of the photo and found these 😉 :
                      https://www.facebook.com/disinfect.sg
                      https://www.disinfect.com.sg/faq

Like always for regular food industry fogging, the vendor must have used \"food grade disinfection solution\" (approved by NEA) to sanitize the supermarket area. Most likely food grade H2O2 solution, whose concentration is more powerful than our fruit/veggie wash? 🤷

Those with packaging (like the biscuits) don't need to be stowed aside. Saw pre-fogging photo of Bedok Mall where Nescafe boxes were not covered also.

                      https://postimg.cc/YvZfyLkz

                      https://www.nea.gov.sg/our-services/public-cleanliness/environmental-cleaning-guidelines/guidelines/guidelines-for-environmental-cleaning-and-disinfection

The only thing about this vendor as revealed by chenlaoshi (their first post in FB was 19 Feb 2020, when disinfection needs went up), is that it isn't listed on NEA's website. :siam:

IMO any exposed bread will not sustain moisture overnight. It’ll definitely degrade for consumption
