We are so excited to share in our first trivia. its a basic definition in physical chemistry.
What is mole? 1 mole of an element is the amount that contains the same number of atoms as there are in 12.0 g of 12-C. It is equivalent to the Avogadro constant, 6.02 x 10^23 number of particles.
Tomorrow, weโll be posting a Chemistry question, which you can share to your students and maybe ask them if they know the answer and the day after, weโll be revealing the answer.

Explanation: A balloon expands when the gas inside it expands. This can be due to increased temperature of the gas particles inside the balloon or reduced pressure of the atmospheric particles outside the balloon. As the balloon travel upwards, the temperature of the atmosphere falls. Hence, a decrease in rate collisions of outside gas molecules will produce a lower pressure and result in the balloon expanding.

Amount of Cl- = 0.1 x 48/1000 = 0.0048 mol (in 20 cm3)
Ratio of H+ : Cl- = 0.0024 : 0.0048 = 1 : 2
