What do you think are the pros and cons in getting help from a chemistry tuition? Need to collect this to decide whether to get one or not.
      hi there!

pros: your child's learning gap can be dealt with through (1)diagnostic exams to find out which areas they are weak and then the tuition school can customize her lessons; (2) can have 24/7 consultation to tutors (3) can have access to learning tools necessary(4) can have exclusive notes (5) master tutors are able to make the concepts more comprehensible

cons: (1) enrollment means also setting aside a budget for tuition fees; (2) requires time commitment from your child in order to attend classes; (3)maybe the manner of teaching could become an issue? I think its best that if you consider getting your child to attend a tuition school, let him join a trial class to be able to weigh and have a \"feel\" for the tutors, if they are patient and has personality which does not intimidate.

      hope this helps!

        Hi,

What is the effect of impurities in melting point and boiling point of a substance? Need your help. Thanks.

          Hi lee!

Impurities cause lowering of melting point through the process called melting point depression. For the boiling point, on the other hand, impurities results to higher boiling point of the substance because the number of molecules available for boiling is decreased.

          I hope it helps!

Why is the impurities causing the melting point to decrease? For the boiling point, thank you so much Uptas for the rationale.

Will visit the forum you have shared for my next queries. Thanks a lot!

Impurities can cause a melting point depression because impurity disrupts the crystal lattice energies.

              Hope it helps!

                Hello Uptas,

Thank you for your patience in answering my question. So, the presence of impurities weakens the lattice, making it less stable. As a result, the compound melts at a lower temperature..now I get it! Thank you so much!šŸ‘

                  Hello,

How does paper chromatography works in separating mixture of solutes in a solution?

I think it is measured through the different speeds of different solutes travelling on the paper. It has different speeds so eventually they are separated..
