I heard from my friend's daughter that the waitlist in NTU has started moving. Hopefully everyone in the waitlist, including my friend's daughter will be offered to NTU meds very soon. While waiting, if by word of mouth, anyone has any ideas how many students has accepted the offer in NTU meds? Would appreciate if there is some numbers.

Personally heard 2 girls and 2 boys on waitlist being offered by YLL on 25 May, Monday evening. All are from neighhourhood JCs. Heard a high percentage of YLL students are now from neighbourhood JCs rather than from the elite JCs.

          Hi! Apple12245,
I guess that it should be around now and end before 17 June (2nd acceptance window). Offer would make as and when places are available. This was stated on LKCSoM information leaflet sent via email to those after their MMI interviews. NTU will definitely send notification to those on waitlist regardless of the outcome.

I have heard that the waitlist was around 60. At the moment we hope for the best.
Last 2 years, my friends' sons who were on NTU waitlist continued to be on waitlist months after. There was no reply or outcome from NTU.

Btw, YLL gave out more than 280 offers at the initial batch. I believed LKC also gave out more than 150 offers.

Any idea according to past wait lists, are the offers made in a single shot after the acceptance window?

My son said last monday, many on waitlist were issued offers. I believe they can come as and when vacancies arise. I think as long as the students have not taken their health screenings and signed their service agreements, there will still be chances for wait list students to be allocated seats. Some males may not be able to obtain disruptions from army and their slots could be given up to the females etc.

My son said last year, one senior was offered a place by YLL in July.

              Stay hopeful.

                  Hello Folks,

I am a parent of a kid put on LKC waitlist and I believe there are quite a few in the same boat as me in this forum. Appreciate if u guys can update us as soon as u have received an offer so as to let the fellow anxious and hopeful folks like me share your happiness and at the same time have a โ€œfeelโ€ of the movement of the waitlist.

My son rang them to ask about army disruption and he said they were extremely helpful although it may take a long time for someone to answer the call. Just keep trying. Better than waiting.

Emailed LKC and was told that as of now, they have not started making further offers to wait listed candidates.
