Which school you think is better other than Nan Chiau?
Due current Covid'19 pandemic, they will not have open house and I don't even have chance to visit the school to understand more. Really in dilemma.
-

All the schools you listed are the same. NC is not better or worse than the rest in your list. It is just very popular. My friend’s daughter went to NC, ended up being teased (understatement) for bad results. She is now in NA stream. Another one was balloted out at 2C, and went to Anchor Green at 2CS, and now very happy there. While this family was mto able to compare between NC and AG, they didnt think they ended up worse off.
Thanks Davischew…

Dear all,
I shifted to Sengkang area not long and not familiar with primary schools nearby. Schools within 1KM are :
Springdale Primary
Compassvale Primary
Punggol Green Primary
Nan Chiau Primary
Would like to collect some advice and comments from parents / students here. We are under category 2C.
Thank you!
-

Can try GoogleMaps to see which school is more convenient to your place, and check the schools' websites to understand the programmes they offer. Just some suggestions.
Thanks Davischew…

That is not entirely true.
The specific student can be different but the school generally is better equipped.
NC is a Shhk sch.
Apart from moe funding, Shhk provide resources too.
Eg, they have their own Chinese program that is only offered in their Shhk related schools.MerlionInGermany\" post_id=\"1978494\" time=\"1590803475\" user_id=\"2964:

Hihi, I need some advice here. My son is a SC but he only eligible to register in phase 2C.
1km to 2km
Woodgrove primary school
Woodlands Primary school
What is the chance of getting in to either this 2 school? If I get ballot out. I will have to apply under 2CS is that rite?
How does 2CS works?
TIA -

Hi All,
For yr2020 P1 registration starting in July, this year registration is different due to COVID19.
Read on the MOE website
If you have secured a P1 place for your child in a previous registration phase, you will need to withdraw your place from the school before registering in another school. Unless you have withdrawn your place, MOE will not process any further online applications made for your child and your child will remain in the school that your child had earlier secured a place at. You are to ensure that the child has been successfully withdrawn before submitting another online application.
Any idea how to withdraw?
Thanks -
