Actually they can just use a simple twist-tie. Or if they have this kind of soft plastic cable clips, it is relatively easy for a child to unclip herself with practice.

But as Zappy mentioned above, it tends to cause the Upper ear loop to still press down on the ear.

I think the people who benefit from these are medical personnel who bun up their hair, or those who wear headgear already (turbans, tudung), which provide more grip to hold up the upper strap higher.

Consider a high bun, or a single ponytail (if it’s a girl).

Actually, my daughter said the later govt-issued ones are better in the sense that the loops are softer and does not hurt the ears as much plus they are also not as hot as the disposable ones. So that’s what she’s using now in school.

Had lunch date with DH today: piping hot Korean food, not too crowded. Staff all wearing latex gloves in addition to masks.

One of my daughters is the only one in our family who swims regularly - but our neighbourhood public pool hasn't re-opened!

I’m sure she’s longing for pool to re-open. Might be a conscious effort not to encourage big crowds in a public pool, but they shld be able to stagger the numbers.

This morning’s heavy downpour had dampened my spirit as was ready to visit the nurseries for particular soil for my Lavendar, rosemary and mints.
