The SMC list has also been much reduced since 2 years ago?[/quote]Yes, a number of overseas medical school recognised by SMC has been reduced especially those in Australia and Dublin. Hearsay another round of cut will happen again... same like what they do to the overseas law schools.

The increase in intake has gradually been adjusted as per guidelines by MoH since year 2018. It has been capped at 500 (e.g. NUS + NTU + Duke), so there is no increase in intake.

MoH wants a robust Healthcare systems for Singapore. That is why they have streamlined the number of listed overseas medical schools. They have already been gradually increasing the number of intake for our local universities since 2018 and has capped it at 500 to date. We are not short of doctors in the Healthcare Workforce. Ultimately, iPad is a tool that depends on students needs and how convenient that fits for individual learning.
Your children is eligible for education pricing if you purchase your iPad online. For a IPad with 32Gb, it can as cheap as $450 estimated if you are facing financial matters. iPad mini is also doable for about $500 plus as an estimation.

Just sharing some past time news while we are still in waiting with our kids. I believe they will get back on their feet once things are over. Life must goes on and wishes every kids here good health and all the best in whatever they do in their future endeavors.
A news quoted from last year 14 Aug 2019 from CNA. NTU Medicine had received over 900 applicants for the intake and they took in 150 the largest cohort. In year 2018 they only took in 138. NTU White Coat Ceremony is on 13 August every year.
So latest by mid July the deadline quoted by LKCSoM, if no news then we can be sure that our wait is over.
