SCF (Singapore Chess Federation) & Intchess are conductiong chess course during sch holiday

Beginner program might suit the pre-schoolers....
Many top players from different age categories have attended various courses offered by them....

What kind of age are we talking about for pre-schoolers? 3years, 4years, 5years?

according to the National Int’l Chess Championship for Pri Sch which is held annually in March every year (first weekend after T1), ALL medal winners Under 7 age (P1 kids) group have already been SCF rated prior to the event…i.e. most of them already attended trainings and competitions recognized by SCF before P1

I have checked with SCF. Age recommended is at 4 1/2.

wonder if anyone interested in registering their kids who falls under 4? maybe we can see if we can form a class? My son keeps asking me to register him for the chess class but he is under 4 at the moment.

if your son is keen, why not sign up the course directly with SCF?

I understand SCF really encourage young beginners to participate even in the primary Under 8 category...

if your son is keen and start learning early, surely he will have much advantage....
