One of my favourite assessment book is by Renee Chong (Science Companion). I realise it has guide book from EPH website.

Another good one is Marshall Cavendish (orange colour, got eagle picture on its cover), it is like 10 yr series, where past yr's PSLE questions are there.
      Hi Caroline,
Can you advise more about Marshall Cavendish pls ? Does it provide suffficient info ? Thanks.

Definitely not enough to just get one assessment book even though MC is past year questions. I had 3 - 4 assessment books.

            Caroline,

I get quite a few Science assessment books for my son to practice on. Some were bought during Popular roadshows...old publications (don't have upper/lower block). Mabel Cheong, Renee Chong, Helen Lee are not bad.

My son uses Perfect Match Science in school...but it's too summarized 😢 :?: Could you pls recommend any title...his school text is too pathetic to pass Science exam. Thanks in advance. Pls PM me in case I miss your post. Thanks.

              Janet

Actually all sch texts are not enough.

You can browse My pals are here, I-Science. They are slightly better than Perfect Match but you can’t base them for exams, not to mention PSLE.

You have to use guide books as text, as bible. If your son is very very interested and have time, look up the web (ie wikipedia or other reference sites as provided by textbook) for further info.

Yesterday I went to Expo Popular Fair. My goodness, queue 2.5 hr to pay!

I bought Science Alive CD @$19.90 each. Earlier on, I mentioned on line purchase is $11. It is the old version and it doesn't come with CD cover, just plastic.
                Hi caroline3sg

I went to Popular bookstore last night and manage to find the CD. The price is $24.90. It's packed into individual CD boxes for each title, e.g. Energy, Interaction, Cycle, System. I didn't make my purchase because I am not sure if this is the latest version. Pls advise. Thanks!

                  Caroline,
I have My Pals are here booster. Yesterday, I stood for 45 min in Popular going through the Science guide books there. Will probably get Everything you need to know by Patricia Chan as well as Science Companion during Bookfest in Nov.

This is the one. There is \"Revised\" word on the cover. The old version is not for sale anymore. In Popular, pls check whether you are entitled to the 20% (voucher from the magazine if you are member). If not, I think Expo today last day @$19.90 each. But on Fri when I went to Expo, about noon, only left a few pieces each theme, unless they replenish the stock.

Where is bookfest held? Suntec? So fast got info already?

I went several times to different Popular before getting Lower Sec Sci Study Notes (A & B) from Expo. Each book about $15. Should have gotten them earlier, now already finished CA1 & SA1.
