Hi all, would appreciate comments/advice on what to apply in phase 2C. Options are:
1-2 km: Alexandra, Zhang De, Queenstown Primary
<1km: Blangah Rise, Gan Eng Seng Primary
      Thanks!
The most popular In your list is Alexandra but 1-2km no chance. I suggest you go for the most convenience in terms of travelling.

Thank you! Any idea which would be the next ‘better’ school to go for after alex?

Go for the more convenient one. Both schools are on par with each other academically.

In fact, if I were you, I would go for GESPS, since the school is less than 1 km away.

Hi QMS, which \"both schools\" are you referring to? I have QTPS, ZD, BR, GES.. All similar on par? Thanks!

I am not familiar with BRPS, so I can't say anything about this school. There hasn't been much sharing of this school by parents in the Parents Networking Group either.

As for QTPS, ZDPS and GESPS, they are academically on par with one another. In fact, I would also go as far as to say that the RMPS of today is no different in terms of academic standard compared to the rest of the schools in Bt Merah region. But that's another topic of discussion.

For your case, if you want to go by popularity, you can consider ZDPS/QTPS for P2C, and GESPS/CPS/BRPS for P2CS. If you trust what I said about their academic standard and disregard popularity, go for the school that is most convenient.

Just go for the one that has the shortest traveling time for your child. Whichever of these schools does not really matter because parents cannot just throw the academic coaching to the school teachers. Need to hands on coach your child also.

ZDPS is near Tiong Bahru MRT, QTPS is near Queenstown MRT, Blangah Rise is all the way near Telok Blangah, GES is in Redhill region, Cantonment is nearer Tanjong Pagar already.

These schools are spaced pretty far apart even though it’s still same general South-West district. We don’t know which is nearer for you so we can’t advise.

What about New Town Primary School? is it also on par with Zhangde, QTPS, GESP? See it has a lot of vacancies for some reason…

                  Thanks!

                      Hi,

Seeking further feedback on the following schools:
                      CPS, CHIJ and ZDPS.

How’s the experience like so far?

If you are choosing between CPS, CHIJ kellock and ZDPS, obvious choice is CHIJ Kellock for the affiliation. As parents, we tend to over estimate our kids. We don't know when the new AL banding comes in, what are the changes for affiliation, but for now, I will definitely go for it. I think the \"experience\" is secondary imho 🦆
