Aiyah, I think put mine in CHIJ and sleep peacefully. She also can sleep peacefully and walk to school in 5 mins.

For all it matters, while others were typing down suggestions and alternative choices - thesgdaddy has been sleeping peacefully away.

RGPS 2C (speaking for SC above 2km), this year SC above 2km no chance. Based on the historical data, RGPS ballot during 2010,2011,2012 (ballot for either SC within 1km) and 2013 SC within 1km to 2km. Some major factors affect the balloting range. Like, birth rate, school vacancy, 2B applicant (determine how many seats left for 2C). Combine all the relevant data into the analysis, SC 1km to 2km very high chance balloting and balloting ratio should be around 3 to 1 or 4 to 1. Small chance for SC within 1km to ballot (small chance, but doesn’t mean no chance). So parents who stay above 2km of RGPS and have other favorite school between 1km to 2km and the odds to some school are around 1 to 2, 1 to 3. go for it!

There will be huge movement on the last day. Wait for the final results on 12-Aug.

You can try to call in the school to see if they are willing to reveal the updated info they have on hand. Because after today online form registration end, the update will only be on the 12 Aug as stated in MOE website.

Online form is available to anyone who could not or didn’t manage to use P1-IS.

It is slightly more troublesome cos need to scan & attach IC (not sure what other docs). But those who were on the fence (or want to withdraw/change school) will do so today.

We can expect large changes in several schools after today’s applications finally close. But MOE will not publish until next Wednesday 12 August. On that date, u will see the balloting categories. And the final total number of applicants per school.

Thank you everyone for your inputs. Have decided on CHIJ (Katong), even though Haig Girl's seem to be more popular. At the end of the day, a 5 min walk to a reasonably good school is considered very lucky already so just be happy, count my blessings that no nail biting finale to worry about. Apply and go enjoy cappucino and cakes later :).. I thank everyone who commented and gave their inputs.

Send application via online form usually will receive email acknowledgement pretty fast.
