sorry to hear that, you can check the MOE website and check the number of applicants in phase 2c to roughly guage yourself
then you can shortlist a few
get the one that is closest and not known for pai kia types

Congrats and welcome to the club! Buzz me when you receive your son’s class allocation (should be around Oct/Nov). If you can’t find your class WhatsApp group, I’ll ask around the older mums cos they may have formed with their Phase 1 kakis already.

Phase 2CS starts on Wed 19 Aug. MOE website showing the vacancies should be updated by tonight or tomorrow.

If you want faster gauge, just look at website now and take the first number minus the second number. Shouldn’t be too far off.

Thanks for the advice… Will check again from this evening. Would some schools open new vacancies for 2c sup? Or should I assume if a school is already oversubscribed in 2c (and had to go into ballot) that they won’t be up for selection in 2c sup phase?

There would be no new vacancies. If the school is balloting in Phase 2C, it means it’s full house. Look elsewhere.

Whether you choose to waitlist or otherwise, you will need to register in a school first. Therefore, you will need to register in Phase 2CS. The process is similar to Phase 2C.

After which, you will:
1. Waitlist at the school you want
2. Apply for LOA at the balloted / applied primary school
There's no guarantee that the waitlist school will have place for you in 2022. Hence, you will still need to report / attend the balloted / applied primary school from Phase 2CS.

Can we apply for schools that is available is other area? instead of north side which is filled now apply for east side schools that still have vacancies?
