I found out my pri school has been merged with NTPS and i am contemplating to send my kid to NTPS. How is the past years results? I saw 100% passing rate from 2010 to 2012.
Been trying to get a glimpse of the school uniform but their website do not show. Is it a blue pinafore for girls? and blue shorts and white shirt for boys? -

Hi, I’m thinking whether to register my boy in New town primary next year. I couldn’t find much review yet. Hope parents with kids in NTPS can share with me, how is the school like? What are the niche?

Hi guys. My DD will be in NTPS P4 next year.
Do any one can advice me how the school relocate the pupils based on the year end exam result? And what is the first, second and third class?

I emailed the school and found out that they are having their Open House this year on the 23rd July (Sat) from 9am to 12:30pm. I thought that's rather late given the P1 registration schedule... (which would have already started).
If parents of current students have any feedback about the teachers, leadership, learning environment, CCAs etc. I would very much appreciate your insights

How’s New Town Primary approach to learning? Is it competitive with lots of homework/tests?

In P1, there’s little homework. Only what students can’t finish in school would’ve brought home to complete. Less than 1 page per week (English and math). Mother tongue seems more intensive. At least 2-4 pages per week. Weekly spelling lists (both English and Mother tongue) are quite long (around 10-15 words, including short sentences) but that’s not unusual.

For those interested, NTPS is having Open House on Saturday 22 July in the morning. Not entirely certain about timing but should be around 9am to 12.30pm.
