Similarly, those who are on medical leave due to acute respiratory infection (ARI) will be allowed to sit the examinations if they test negative for Covid-19.

Safe management measures will continue to be implemented in schools and examination venues during the national examinations.

These include testing all PSLE candidates, who show the first signs of ARI, for Covid-19 before and during the examination period. This provision will kick in from Sept 17, some 14 days be-fore the start of the PSLE written examinations.

What my DS did for his PSLE:-

1) Go through and understand school resources well (eg purpose, number the points referencing the questions, formal/ informal, …)

2) Go through teachers’ comments and markings (why certain marks were deducted)

There are a lot of enrichment centers offering last lap revision for PSLE such as Mind Stretcher etc. Anyone been through? Is it useful for the P6 kids?

Ds didn’t do so well for his Science prelims. Paper 1 was ok but pulled down by Paper 2.


Is there some ways to answer Paper 2 questions. Yes I know keywords must be there. But there are answers that he gave even with keywords, he didn’t get the marks as well. How can I help him?

His Science tutor just keep asking him to do past year papers, i seriously feel that this should not be the way. Spoken to the Science tutor yesterday, he keep saying to use point form to answer questions and use connectors to join the answers. I am very doubtful by his way of coaching.
