:nosebleed: my girl keeps failing her science. What do I do?? Always by few marks. SA1 is coming soon. PSLE is 5 months away.

      Hi Yen77,

Sorry to hear that! What's the breakdown of her exam marks for the MCQ and OEQ Sections?

Generally speaking, Science MCQs will be the first place to target to make improvements. But it really depends, it could also be her OEQ pulling her down. You might like to take a look at https://studysciencesmart.com/get-free-pdf-5-sure-fire-ways-to-stop-losing-marks/ if her OEQ is weak.

In any case, PM me if you'd like further guidance since time is tight for her. but don't give up just yet, still can make progress in 5 months! :rahrah:

She managed to get C for Prelim.

During writing, should the child write dates such as 15 October 2020 as fifteen October 2020 and should they write 9 a.m. as nine in the morning? Thanks in advance
          15 October 2020

          9 a.m.

          All the best![/quote]
Same, my DS was also taught that way in school. Eg, \"..... the incident took place on 15 October 2020 at 9 a.m in the morning.\"

My girl got 90 for English,100 for math, 83 for science, 87 for Chinese and 64 for HCL for prelims. Is there anyway to gauge her tscore? Her prelims were relatively hard.
