The PV of FMPS closing period is end of May. You should be getting a reply from them whether successful a not.
Wow! Your reply is super fast!!! Thanks a lot!!! -

If u are not selected and end up in phase 2C, chances of balloting is quite slim since u are staying 1-2 km. From 2006 to 2008, balloting was conducted for those staying within 1km only. Only in 2009 was balloting done for those staying 1-2 km. Whereas no balloting was done in the last 3 years under phase 2B. Good luck to ur PV application !!I'm new to SG school system. Even though hubby is a true blue Singaporean, but knows nothing about it
We applied for Fairfield Methodist Primary PV in Feb and hear nothing so far. What's the chance of being selected for PV? If not, we're staying within 1-2 km. Possible to join the balloting? Anyone knows FMP, please share your experiences. Thanks!!! -
Sorry, tag along this thread for statistics on Maris Stella Primary. I couldnt find it under Hougang or Serangoon. Could any kind souls let me know so I can gauge my chances for this year’s registration. I’m staying within 1km of Holy Innocent but I prefer Maris Stella becoz it’s an all boys’ school. Any parents with kids in Maris Stella, is it easy to take public transport from Mt. Vernon to Hougang? TIA!

Hi!
Maris Stella is in Toa Payoh. I have moved your post from the Catholic Primary Schools to the Toa Payoh thread. -
Hi
I’m new here…
Is there anyone out there who can advise me.
Would i still consider as an ex student of the pri sch if i transfer out at pri 4
Hope someone can help me
thank you -

Yes. I believe as long as you studied at the primary school before, you're counted as an ex-student. You don't need to have studied all six years there, nor do you need to have graduated from the school.Hi

Yes, you are. You need to show your report book during registration. -
Hi
What if i have misplaced the report book?

How else can you prove that you used to study there? Don't expect the school to keep records. -
Hi,
I am totally new here. Just an anxious parent like you ponder over the primary school for my daughter.
Planning to register my daughter to West Grove (live within 1km), i guess we are in Phase 2c (didn’t do any PV work).
But apart for West Grove, Rulang, which primary school around Jurong West will be a better choice?
Need your advise.
Thanks
