Hi there may I know if higher Chinese is a must or is it optional?
Also is RVPS very academic focus or do they focus on other activities such as sports, dancing, ballet etc? -

yes i also read up the ALPS principal came from Maha Bodhi which is a good pri school in the east side whereas the RVPS principal came from Bebok Green. Also some of my friends in this area also said that ALPS is quite good so i might just take ALPS since it also much nearer.
My husband's friend said alps got a good principle, new school with new facilities. rvps has a condo project going on right next to its campus which could take 3-4 years to complete(Avenir?), i'm a bit worried about the noise and dust but my place is nearer to rvps.klm05\" post_id=\"1986089\" time=\"1594882002\" user_id=\"186973:
i mean ppl say might not be true so its better to check with you all who are in the school can give more feedback so i can understand the school better.

Also the PI-IS and Online form submission running in parallel but with different ending dates this year, makes the 2C game real complicated..good luck to all of us!

What has changed after the new principle? Any idea how was the PSLE results for 2020? Any advise will be helpful as I am considering transfer as we could move near the school. Thanks a tonne

what are the chances of getting a slot under 2A(2), can anyone advise and is it true RVPS don’t exercise 2A(1)?

All schools have phase 2A1 and 2A2. 2A2 sure in for RVPS.

Not every school has an alumni association that you can join to get into Phase 2A1. Therefore some schools only have Phase 2A2 for former students.

Currently, I have 2 children in RVPS. Elder one is sitting for PSLE now, last paper will be next wed (HMT), thus PSLE Results 2020 will only release in late Nov 2020.
According to P, last year PSLE batch was the best cohort with 20% scored 250 n above. About 85 or 88% went into express stream.
However, hope this year batch performs even better than last year batch.
Nearby Alps heard is good too. -
