        20 and 21 Oct. My boy got the letter last week. He probably stands no chance if prepping is as common as it sounds here! Mine never had any tuition and self learns.
        If gifted, no need prep class.

        If not gifted, even with prep also no chance.

        Round 1 sorts TOP 10% from the rest.
        Just a few hours of preparation class will not change anything except to fatten the wallets of the centres which capitalise on parents’ fears and desires.

        Just assure your boy to try his best.

          Strangely non of the top performers in class were selected for round 2 in my kids school.

                Not necessarily. wait til end of this week. Interestingly, all selected in my kids class are boys 😆

                    my son’s class and other classes, mostly top students get in especially those who are very good in Math.
