for the first question in booklet b , my answers for a) is circulatory system b ) heart c ) lungs and arteries ... does anyone have the same answer as me ?

For a), they also asked for the function.

a) It is the circulatory system. It's function is to transport oxygen, food and water to different parts of the body and to remove waste materials from the different parts of the body.

b) Heart

c) Blood vessels and veins.

Lungs are part of the respiratory system not the circulatory system.

Oh yeah , I also put the same function .
However my child put blood and blood vessels

My gal commented that Science paper was easier than some top school papers , esp Booklet A:) Overall she was happy 😃
Phew! Glad the papers are finally over for her! All the best to the kids who are taking Higher Mother Tongue tmr!

If this year (2020, exiting last Tscore batch),
all 4 subjects manageable,
next year 2021 (AL) can be ... similar to this year, because is pioneering first turbulent batch AL, may give chance because everyone is so new to AL, just like this year covid, a turbulent roller coaster year

The easier the papers, the higher the cohort mean, which means fewer scores at the extreme ends (I.ie., TOP scorers would have their t score “depressed” while bottom scorers would have their t score “enhanced”). This would also mean more students are bunched in the middle with similar t scores.

Same for AL. Easier papers means more students would share the same AL -> so more would have to go balloting when choosing Sec schools?

For the English booklet A question 26 or 27, the snakes and ladders one, what was your kid’s answer?

I heard someone mention that the t score formula is not as accurate for the bottom and top scores which r dependent on the cohort?

Ya, all sure those students who say easy is from?
TOP class for Math.

😂😂😂 Yeah, top in math.
Everyone in this forum says easy until a friend (son taking psle next year) exclaimed “wahh this year cohort henggg ah, all so easy. Read online forum all say easy chicken feet. Next year my turn confirm super tough.”

I was like (rolling eyes), Yup this year all student will get a place in IP school because papers too easy.

Ya lor, I wonder those student usually get 60plus or 70 plus think easy too? I think next year will be easy too. Bec Covid affected primary 5 student too, primary 5 cover the most topics as compare primary 6.
Hope next year’s P5 will have easier papers. They’ve gone through as much difficulties as our kids this year, with all the disruptions in their learning.
