Hi

Can someone share some tips on how to answer inference questions?

Hi Xueyan,

The answer format is \"Inference-Evidence-Explain\". What is the inference you get from the source, where is the evidence (quote text or describe image) and how does the evidence support the inference.

Some basic tips:
1. Look at the issue of the case study as it will help you to focus your inference
2. imagine yourself from the point of view as the author. What sort of message would you want to send?
3. If your answer is just a rephrase of the source then you are going wrong.

Hope these simple tips can help you. Do let me know if you need examples.

Hi Critical Thought

I am keen to learn how to answer and will be grateful if you can show examples to grasp the concept.

Many thanks.
