        Hi,

I am referring to the Singaporean priority system now.
If I am balloted out from phrase 2C and I ended up in 2C supp for another school, will I still have priority over PR for the alternative school?
Or that alternative school will admit the PR first in phrase2C and the remaining places in 2C supp will be whatever is left after PR got in in phrase 2C?

Am trying to have back up plans in case I am balloted out of my preferred school.

If 2C supp is the remaining places after PR got their places, cannot imagine what schools are left.

Its my understanding, the spaces available in Phase 2Cs will be the leftover from Phase 2C. Pr who registered during Phase 2C would already have their allocated places.

If I studied in the secondary school and am an alumni, can my kid get into the primary school though I never studied there?

It depends on which secondary school you were from.

To be clearer, if you are from one of the full schools (Catholic High, St Nicholas, MGS, Maris Stella, SCGS, NYGH before 1978), then yes.

                  Else, no.

How do I know if they are full schools? Tried googling but no results.

Hi Chief, I am an alumni of a neighbourhood school, and considering doing PV for a popular school. A friend told me that I can register daughter with my alma mater at phase 2A1 to secure a place, then try my luck at phase 2B with the popular school as a PV; if I manage to get a place at the popular school, I can then transfer daughter from my alma mater to the popular school. I’d like to ask if this information is correct? If not, what is the correct procedure? Thanks!

I am not Chief, but here's your reply:

If you want, you may register your daughter with your alma mater in P2A. Come P2B, you need to evaluate your chance with the popular school. If you think you stand a good chance with this popular school, you need to first withdraw your application from your alma mater. Yes, you need to give up your confirmed place with your alma mater before you can even register with the popular school, not after. In the event that you are not successful in P2B, you cannot go back to your alma mater and claim the place that you gave up previously.

                        So, think carefully.
