my elder kid sch used to have internal practical exam for Sci i think only in P3 to P4 .

more like experiential learning , sch initiative , alternative mode of assessment

NO practical for PSLE

I know of someone who did 3F1S and managed to get Normal acad/Express.

NA kid who is strong in eg math can be offered express math , likewise for Sci, MT .

Only 2024 Sec 1 batch then fully kick in: https://www.moe.gov.sg/microsites/cos2019/subject-based-banding.html

But, regardless, even after 2024 MOE will still classify the kids into a stream in their PSLE results slip. Only for admin purposes I suppose.

Hi, any idea what to expect for result release day? Just collect result and go home? Speeches about resilience? Anyone any idea?

due to covid and CB situation, i think the students go back to their own classes to rec results
previously was in the hall, then P or VP will share the overview sch performance, top performing students etc

maybe this year, the p6 can zoom in their own classroom, P address them via zoom video (??)

yah , take results, chit chat ,engage with sch mates, teachers and go home..
