You are not limited to your home location, so if there is some other collection point that is convenient for you (near your workplace, on your regular routes, etc), you can collect somewhere else. Maybe some of the collection points that have been open for a while have shorter queues? I'm not sure about that, though. The Queenstown CC one was one of the first that opened, and I went in the 3rd or 4th week on a weekday morning - no queue at all! But after this announcement, that may have changed.

Same here. I collected near my kid’s school just before dismissal time when I happened to be early few weeks ago.
Not sure of the situation now. I need to collect for kid + DH this time round. -
Probably need to collect the token for kids or seniors or anyone that doesn’t have a phone. For me, I just use the TT app that installed on the phone.

They may have some way to checking queues? Anyway, I collected for my husband and 1 daughter when I collected mine. My other girl will have to figure out how to get hers when she comes back next year (or use the app), assuming things haven't changed yet again!

We have not collected ours too.
I think as long as u have the trace together app, its ok to wait a while.
They have assured that there will be enough tokens for everyone and advised residents to collect the tokens at their respective Community Centres instead of queuing up at the limited distribution centres now.
There are also tokens with slimmer design now it seems.

My understanding is that either the token or the app is sufficient. I just prefer having a token. But for those who are happy with the app, no need to collect the token.

used the TT app last two days at market, supermart, mall - i must say it improve alot since first launch
very sensitive n scan fast - thats the way to go mah…
my family will use app first, except snr who collected before all the marketing comm.
maybe i will collect mine at later date , if it is meant for all sg citizens to have one? -
Should be for everyone who wants it.
I plan to switch to the token once it’s collected.
Actually I thought the token would facilitate better contact tracing since its always on, unlike the app where u have to on the Bluetooth for it to work. -
More collection Centres for the tokens coming up nearer every constituencies, one at a time. No hurry.
